  • Chances of introducing a virus in your phone: This again is another big problem, the chance of introducing a virus in your phone. You might introduce a virus while installing a custom script or something like that. It is recommended to browse through XDA-developers before doing such thing.

  • Backing up EFS partition: You will find EFS partition in every phone. This EFS partition contains your phone’s Mac address, Wi-Fi address, etc. The reason to backup this is to restore your phone in case it gets bricked.
  • Backups: Apps like Go backup, Titanium backup helps you to backup your contacts, messages, apps and much more.
